Dr. Jose Avalos, is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and a partner physician with Southern California Permanente Medical Group Faculty, at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Avalos earned his M.D. from David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles, and his B.A. Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Avalos volunteers as a California Medical Association Los Angeles County Delegate. He also volunteers as a member of the Adelante Young Men (AYM) Advisory Board, and as a workshop presenter for the AYM College & Career Conference.
