ABOUT
The Adelante Young Men! Conference has quickly become the largest, single gathering of its kind in the State of California, with over 2,100 conference participants in 2016, its 6th year. The number of participants has grown steadily from 250 attendees the first year. Conference participants are primarily from Southern California, but some have come from as far away as Northern California, San Diego County and the Imperial Valley.
The AYM Conference offers boys in grades 8-12, the opportunity to take part in interactive, educational workshops presented by positive male leaders from various professions and academic disciplines.
Our workshop presenters impart first-hand experience during their 75 minute workshop. Attendees choose two workshops from a variety of professions and attend the Resource Fair, with colleges, universities and community service organizations sharing valuable information.
The purpose of the Adelante! Young Men (AYM) Conference is to provide tools for personal and professional growth, challenge them to raise their expectations, promote leadership and encourage a post-high school education, so they may achieve their goals and have a positive impact on their lives and the lives of others.
